Our client portfolio includes names like Nike, Jordan, the NBA, Netflix, and Taco Bell. We are seeking a Director, Brand Strategy to lead our strategy team and drive the next phase of our growth

As a Director of Brand Strategy, you’ll be responsible for shaping and directing strategic efforts across all of Victory’s brand initiatives. This role will lead the vision for brand development, oversee a team of strategists, and collaborate closely with creative, account, and production teams to deliver transformative brand experiences. You will also act as a key partner to our clients, providing thought leadership and ensuring their business objectives are aligned with our strategic outputs.

What You'll Do

  • Set and lead the overall brand strategy vision for Victory, ensuring it aligns with client goals and business growth objectives.
  • Oversee the strategic development of all client brand initiatives, from campaign planning to creative execution, across various marketing mediums including digital, experiential, and brand partnerships.
  • Lead the Brand Strategy team by providing mentorship, direction, and clear growth pathways for junior and senior strategists alike.
  • Work directly with clients to understand their goals and challenges, and provide strategic guidance that leads to impactful brand narratives and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including creative, production, and account management to ensure alignment and delivery of high-quality strategic work.
  • Present brand strategies to internal teams and clients with confidence, articulating the vision and rationale behind each decision.
  • Support business development efforts, leading strategy for new business pitches and helping to grow client relationships.
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standard, while consistently pushing the boundaries of creative brand strategy.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in brand strategy, with a significant portion in a leadership role, preferably within an agency or dynamic brand setting.
  • Expertise in leading brand development, campaign strategy, and creative ideation across multiple channels.
  • Proven experience working directly with clients at a senior level, building strong relationships, and driving strategic direction.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently present and defend strategic decisions to clients and internal teams.
  • A creative thinker who can inspire both clients and teams with innovative and forward-thinking ideas.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for nurturing talent and fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • A track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects and timelines while maintaining the highest level of quality.
